Responsibilities
Program, set up, and run CMM inspections , including fixture alignment
Develop OpenDMIS CMM programs for production and FAI
Prepare and maintain complete AS9102 FAI documentation
Create and maintain inspection plans and measurement strategies
Support day-to-day AS9100 quality system requirements
Lead or assist with MRB activities, including containment and documentation
Conduct root cause investigations and implement corrective actions
Support internal, customer, registrar, and supplier audits
Maintain calibration and measurement equipment control
Perform gage/tool R&R studies and validate measurement systems
Support PFMEA/APQP activities to improve process capability
Execute and document inspection and metrology tasks, including optional 3D scanning
Qualification
Required
Experience in aerospace CNC machining quality or metrology
Strong knowledge of AS9100 requirements
CMM programming, setup, and operation (OpenDMIS preferred)
AS9102 First Article Inspection (FAI) experience
RCCA (root cause and corrective action) experience
MRB process participation, including dispositions and documentation
Internal/external audit support
Measurement System Analysis (gage/tool R&R) experience
Experience with calibration program oversight
Ability to develop detailed inspection plans
Preferred
Engineering or related technical degree
AS13100 experience (aero engine standards)
PFMEA and APQP experience
NADCAP experience in a machining/special process environment
3D scanning experience (Creaform/Geomagic preferred)
