They are seeking a Principal Security Architect to help grow their Security Practice, focusing on hands-on security architecture and engineering, including designing solutions and leading projects for clients.

Responsibilities
Split focus between pre-sales (sales enablement) and post-sales (delivery), ideally 50/50, though priorities may shift based on demand
Execute security architecture and engineering delivery work for enterprise clients, including projects, assessments, and consulting engagements
Collaborate across practices, solution architects, and sales teams
Respond to RFIs, RFQs, and RFPs
Prepare BOMs, SOWs, and LOEs
Develop and present customer-facing collateral, including architecture design artifacts (HLDs and LLDs) and pre-sales materials (presentations, feature matrices, etc.)
Evaluate new technologies and vendors in a lab environment and create cross-platform integrations
Train and mentor security teams and solution architects
Work directly with sales representatives and delivery engineers to support both client engagements and business growth
Qualification
Required
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills; comfortable presenting to all levels, from technical teams to executive leadership
Ability to produce advisory documents, architecture diagrams, and pre-sales/delivery artifacts from scratch
Proven track record of managing pre-sales opportunities from discovery to closure
Experience overseeing and contributing to successful delivery projects
Strong analytical skills to assess client requirements, propose solutions or process improvements, and define implementation plans
Thrives in a fast-paced environment with strong problem-solving capabilities
Experience co-developing and delivering workshops and executive briefings related to security
Approximately 50% of time allocated to professional services delivery; travel may be required 10–20% depending on project needs
Preferred
Certifications such as CISSP, CISA, CISM, AWS Security Specialty, Azure Security Engineer, or vendor-specific certifications (Tanium, Zscaler, CyberArk, SailPoint, Fortinet, Palo Alto)
Expertise in one or more areas: Network Security, Cloud Security, Application Security, Endpoint Security, Identity & Access Management
Experience with enterprise-scale security deployments and infrastructures, particularly within Fortune 500 organizations
