Responsibilities
Own and lead complex tax engagements across individuals, small businesses, partnerships, S corps, and nonprofits—with precision, urgency, and impact
Be the hands-on quarterback for Small Business Accounting, Tax Preparation, IRS Representation, and proactive Tax Planning—delivering clarity and confidence to clients
Build deep, trusted relationships with key clients, providing strategic tax insights and year-round consultative support
Lead, coach, and elevate a high-performing team of tax professionals—bringing technical excellence, accountability, and mentorship to the table
Review and finalize complex tax returns and planning deliverables—ensuring best-in-class quality, compliance, and ethics
Champion process innovation and operational efficiency, integrating modern tools and smart practices to scale intelligently
Stay ahead of tax law developments—guiding both clients and internal teams with timely, strategic counsel
Qualification
Required
An active CPA or EA credential is non-negotiable
Deep hands-on experience in Small Business Accounting, Tax Preparation, Tax Issues, and Strategic Planning
Demonstrated leadership in crafting and executing high-impact tax strategies
Strong command of modern tax software, automation platforms, and operational improvement techniques
Proven track record managing diverse client portfolios and delivering superior advisory outcomes
Preferred
Experience in small to mid-sized CPA firms is highly preferred—you know how to move fast and wear multiple hats
