Responsibilities
Develop construction documents from project conception to completion
Consult to architects, owners, and general contractors
Work on diverse projects with a multidiscipline engineering team
Collaborate with team members and train others as needed
Contribute to Coffman’s marketing and business initiatives as needed
Qualification
Required
Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from an accredited college or university
Minimum of 5 years of relevant electrical engineering design and construction experience in the AEC industry required
Registration as an Engineer in Training (EIT) in Electrical Engineering
Experience with AutoCAD, Revit, Bluebeam, and general electronic drawing format software
Solid knowledge of computer programs such as Microsoft Office 365 suite, Microsoft Teams, Bluebeam, etc
Experience with power system analysis software (E-TAP, EasyPower, SKM)
Must be able to obtain a security clearance from the U.S. Government
Ability to travel for site visits
Ability to work independently as well as train others
Demonstrated ability to work on multiple tasks
Desire to learn and work with a team of professionals
Contributing to Coffman's marketing and business initiatives as needed
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Excellent time management skills
Preferred
Registration as a Professional Engineer (PE) in Electrical Engineering
Experience with lighting software (AGI, Visual Lighting)
Experience with medium and/or high voltage systems
Experience with low voltage systems design
Experience with federal project design
