Responsibilities
Research, identify and apply for competitive grants; manage grant proposal calendar and supporting documents
Manage, track, and report on existing grant activities to funders/grantors
Develop and maintain a grant management system for funded grants that includes report due dates, budget adherence, and any other grant requirements
Develops and maintains a library of information on funding sources, grant writing, and community and state data relevant to the organization’s programs and services
Coordinates, develops, and processes grant applications from conceptual to submission stage while working closely with staff throughout all phases
Submit an average of 1 – 5 grant proposals per month
Qualification
Required
Ability to write persuasive, effective, structured and competitive grant proposals
Familiarity and passion for working with trafficking victims, survivors, and/or marginalized communities
Strong intercultural competency skills and ability to relate to diverse groups of people
1-2 years of grant writing and researching experience with a proven track record in the nonprofit sector
Ability to analyze and communicate programs outcome and statistics
Agile at coming up with innovative and sustainable development solutions
Ability to meet deadlines and effectively work and communicate remotely, in an independent and team environment
Strong oral and written communication skills
Extremely detail-oriented, able to follow directions, and take initiative when needed
Possess a friendly, professional demeanor
Ability to maintain confidentiality in a professional manner
A Bachelor's degree and/or equivalent work-related experience is required
Assistance with gift processing and donor acknowledgement letters, as needed
Proficiency with donor software databases, such as Kindful, Salesforce, Bloomerang, or Raisers Edge
