Handle exceptions as part of their duties
Decipher handwriting and decide on spellings
Use common sense and experience to read messy handwriting
Follow state guidelines on when/how to enter a name
Handle exceptions, which are invalid names that were not automatically processed
Qualification
Required
Touch typist only
Fluent in reading and writing English; must be familiar with common names and spellings
Able to read cursive handwriting
Must be computer-savvy and understand universal computer commands
Must be a critical thinker
Have deductive reasoning skills
Detail-oriented
Basic math skills
Preferred
Experience in data entry is a plus but not always required if the candidate has other strong skills
