Responsibilities
Perform production operations per process procedures
Packaging operations according to production guidelines
Transport chemicals/equipment using pumps, piping, forklifts, pallet jacks, or dollies
Ensure quality and quantity of products during production
Clean up equipment and work areas post-production
Dispose of waste properly and complete documentation
Communicate process, product, and equipment status to supervisors
Complete accurate batch records consistent with quality guidelines
Fill out all applicable log books
Follow production procedures and safety policies at all times
Wear appropriate PPE (may include full-face respirators, gloves, suits)
Label in-process equipment and containers properly
Take action to resolve unsafe conditions
Participate in required safety and quality training
Maintain clean working areas and laboratories
Communicate and work effectively with team members
Qualification
Required
AA in Life Sciences (1–2 years experience) or High School Diploma (1–3 years experience) in similar environment
1–2 years chemical manufacturing experience preferred
Safe chemical handling
Forklift operation
Communication (oral & written)
Mechanical & troubleshooting skills
Computer literacy
Interpersonal and organizational skills
Exposure to chemicals requiring PPE: Yes
Use of respirator: Yes
Forklift operation required: Yes
Heavy lifting (>20 lbs): Yes
Standard physical exam required: Yes
Preferred
1–2 years chemical manufacturing experience preferred
