Responsibilities

Develop efficient, user-friendly reports and dashboards using Power BI Desktop and Power BI Service

Translate complex data into clear, actionable insights for non-technical stakeholders

Perform testing, validation and troubleshooting of datasets and reports to ensure accuracy and reliability

Mentor junior analysts by guiding on best practices and technical skills

Contribute to the development of data strategy, including tooling, architecture and process improvements

Train and support business users on the effective use of BI tools and reports

Leverage both on-premises and cloud-based data sources to drive data-informed decision-making

Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and understand evolving business needs

Support additional data analysis tasks as assigned to meet organizational goals

Required

Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field or other relevant degree with a minimum of 5 years of progressively responsible experience in a similar role

Hands-on experience with BI tools including Power BI, Microsoft Fabric, Tableau, Excel, or similar platforms

Communicate insights effectively and recommend data-driven solutions to stakeholders

Advanced problem-solving and critical thinking skills; able to perform accurately and efficiently under pressure

Self-motivated and collaborative, capable of working independently with minimal supervision

Proven ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines; strong leadership and organizational skills

Proficient in writing SQL queries for databases such as MS SQL Server, Oracle and Firebird

Experience with statistical programming and analysis using R or Python

Experience identifying business problems and translating them into data analysis objectives

Preferred

Proficiency in Microsoft Fabric, Power BI Desktop and service, M Language, DAX, and Power Query

Microsoft certifications such as Power BI Data Analyst Associate and/or Fabric Analytics Engineer

Strong understanding of ETL processes, data modeling and data cleansing techniques

Skilled in developing and maintaining standard and custom business reports for various stakeholders

Manage reusable templates, models and assets to streamline reporting and analysis
