Responsibilities
Provide subject matter expertise supporting OMS implementation at SCE
Assist with system logic, workflows, processes, and data related to OMS projects, customer communications, and operational activities
Support database and Windows Server OS upgrades, including configuration, testing, and hands-on OMS support
Perform technical planning, system integration, verification, and validation activities
Conduct cost, risk, supportability, and effectiveness analyses across system lifecycle phases
Translate business and operational requirements into system-level hardware and software specifications
Evaluate hardware and software deliveries for integration into the operational baseline
Perform functional analysis, timeline analysis, trade studies, requirements allocation, and interface definition
Qualification
Required
15+ years of experience performing complex technical analysis, consulting, and project management
Electrical Utility Outage Management System (OMS) application maintenance and back-office support experience
Hands-on experience with OpenGrid Network (PragmaUP / PragmaLINE)
Strong experience with SQL databases
Experience with Python scripting
Windows Server maintenance and operational support
Ability to work independently to identify, analyze, and resolve complex system issues
Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology or related field (required)
Preferred
Master's Degree preferred
PhD preferred
Equivalent combination of education, training, and experience will be considered
