Responsibilities

Participate in business development to provide advice and solutions to the client’s problems

Assist in development of engineering scope of work and service proposals

Manage multi-discipline engineering teams responsible for scope, schedule and budget

Participate in the planning, scheduling, conducting and coordinating detailed phases of engineering projects

Direct preparation drawings and specific type of equipment and materials to be used, in construction and equipment installation

Develop construction work packages and contractor scope of word documents

Inspects completed installations for conformance with design and equipment specifications and safety standards

Provide on-site start up support

Required

10+ years of experience with experience in consulting engineering, construction industry and/or operations with strong focus on the Heavy Industrial Sector

Technical expertise in the Heavy Industrial Sector – proven understanding or expertise of process technologies and industry standards

Process Technology Supplier and OEM Relationships

Experience with Innovation

Comfortable working with integrated designs on large capital projects involving coordination with process technology suppliers for development of mechanical, chemical, civil, and electrical disciplines scope of work

Well organized with a demonstrated ability to meet deadlines and operate within budgets and work directly with client engineers, maintenance teams and construction contractors

Strong communication skills, collaboration and courage to challenge the status quo
