Responsibilities

Works in collaboration with and is an integral member of the interdisciplinary health care team

Functions primarily in the Neuro ICU setting throughout the fellowship to optimize learning experiences

Focused learning experience will be provided that enable the fellow to develop and refine essential specialty-specific clinical and critical thinking skills

Works in the environment of collaborative interdisciplinary care to assure cost-effective, quality, patient-centered care

Fellowship schedule will be week on and week off clinical training in ICU setting with focus on learning component

Additional 10-14 weeks of clinical rotations will be offered in other ICUs, specialty services (commensurate to applicant’s interest)

Qualification

Advanced Practice Registered NurseNurse PractitionerCritical Care ExperienceMaster's Degree in NursingBLS Certification

Required

Graduated from an accredited Nurse Practitioner (Acute care) program

Master's Degree in Nursing

American Heart Association, BLS certification

Licensed in Georgia as an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse

Preferred

Prior nursing experience in critical care setting or neurology unit
