Responsibilities

Provide overall project leadership for new business projects, engineering changes and tool replacements
Ensure timely processing of Project Engineering functions and quick escalation of issues
Establish complete project timelines in coordination with resource and capacity limitations
Send customer communications to meet goal of weekly project communications to customers on each project
Assist with maintenance of project metrics, standards and systems
Assist with improvement of Project Engineering processes for cost, quality, delivery and customer satisfaction
Support maintenance of Project Engineering standards and systems
Other duties as assigned or required

Required

Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field; or minimum of 5 years Project Engineering experience
General computer and MS Office proficiency required
Strong organizational skills required
Ability to prioritize multiple projects with high attention to detail
Strong verbal and written communication skills required
Working knowledge of project management tools (e.g. Gantt charts) required
Familiarity with APQP process preferred, working knowledge required within 6 months

Preferred

Prior experience in stamping, fabrication or other relevant manufacturing preferred
3D CAD knowledge desired but not required, SolidWorks preferred
Ability to read blueprints; understanding of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing) preferred
