Senior Accountant, Financial Reporting & Technical Accounting (CPA or Actively Pursuing Required)

Responsibilities
Prepare and draft SEC filings including 10-Q, 10-K and 8-K reports, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulatory requirements
Solicit, analyze and maintain supporting documentation for disclosures included in external reporting documents
Perform tie-out validation procedures and maintain supporting documentation on other externally released financial information including, but not limited to, annual proxy, investor presentations, earnings releases, etc
Collaborate cross-functionally with Investor Relations, Treasury, International subsidiaries and internal/external auditors to gather and validate financial data
Prepare legal entity financial statements, including IFRS statutory reporting
Prepare monthly stock compensation expense calculations, record entries and reconcile to general ledger
Prepare quarterly/annual calculations of basic and diluted earnings per share and budget/forecast weighted average share projections
Prepare schedules and other documentation in accordance with the Company's internal controls, quarterly financial close process, disclosure checklist and the quarterly and annual SEC reporting calendar
Perform account analyses, footnote tie-outs and supporting schedules
Perform detailed review of the XBRL tagging for SEC filings and facilitate review of tag selections and tie-out all filings to support the appropriate tagging application as well as monitor and update tags for taxonomy updates
Assist with the external audit process by providing timely and accurate supporting documentation
Conduct financial statement and trend analysis to identify key reporting matters
Ensure SOX compliance by executing and documenting internal controls over financial reporting
Participate in key reporting initiatives and cross-functional projects as an accounting resource including implementation of new or modified financial reporting requirements or other accounting implementations
Research new financial reporting requirements and perform benchmarking analysis
Collect, analyze, prepare and submit governmental survey information on an ad hoc basis
Provide assistance/support to other areas within the accounting/finance group and other ad hoc project work, as requested
Support technical accounting processes in complex areas including, but not limited to: Adoption of new accounting standards, Acquisition and disposal transactions, Goodwill and long-lived asset impairment evaluations, Debt transactions, Derivatives and pension accounting
Research and interpret accounting guidance to ensure compliance with applicable standards (US GAAP and IFRS)
Support technical accountants and contribute to ad hoc projects as needed
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or a related field
Certified Public Accountant or actively pursuing professional licensure
Minimum of 2-3 years of relevant experience in public accounting (Big 4 preferred) or within a medium to large international organization
Strong interpersonal skills with excellent verbal and written communication skills; capable of engaging professionally across all levels
Proven ability to manage multiple priorities effectively in a deadline-driven environment, with strong organizational and time management skills
Detail oriented with a proactive approach to problem-solving and analytical thinking
Self-motivated and capable of working independently while thriving in a collaborative, fast-paced team environment
Skilled at building relationships and working cross-functionally with various departments and levels of management
Familiarity with statutory reporting, technical accounting, and applicable standards such as US GAAP and IFRS is advantageous
Experience with ERP systems, preferably SAP or OneStream
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, with intermediate to advanced Excel capabilities
