Responsibilities

Serving as the primary point of contact for workers’ compensation clients
Communicating regularly with clients, attorneys, medical providers, insurers, and the Workers’ Compensation Commission
Explaining the workers’ compensation process and setting realistic expectations for clients
Opening, maintaining, and updating case files with accurate documentation
Requesting and organizing medical records, wage statements, and employment information
Coordinating medical treatment and following up on authorizations
Monitoring benefit payments, including temporary total disability (TTD)
Tracking deadlines, hearings, and appointments
Preparing and filing routine Workers’ Compensation Commission forms and correspondence
Assisting attorneys with discovery, hearings, and settlement preparation
Maintaining detailed case notes in the firm’s case management system
Collaborating with the intake, legal, and operations teams to ensure a seamless client experience

Required

Entry-level candidates should have strong organizational and communication skills and a willingness to learn
Mid-level candidates should have 1–3+ years of workers' compensation or related legal experience
Senior-level candidates should have 4+ years of workers' compensation case management experience and the ability to manage cases independently
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong attention to detail and time management
Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
Comfort working in a fast-paced, client-focused environment

Preferred

Experience with case management software and Microsoft Office or Google Workspace preferred
