Responsibilities
Lead all EDI workstreams for the SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud implementation, including design, mapping, testing, partner certification, cutover, and post-go-live stabilization
Serve as the primary liaison with the SAP System Integrator, middleware providers, and internal business stakeholders to ensure delivery aligns with scope, quality, and timelines
Own EDI integration governance, including cutover planning, defect resolution, compliance, and audit support
Oversee configuration and lifecycle management of EDI transactions across Supply Chain, Finance, and Transportation
Act as the EDI subject matter expert, translating business requirements into scalable, reliable integration solutions
Drive modernization initiatives, including API-based and event-driven B2B integrations, and shape the post-S/4 integration roadmap
Mentor team members and promote best practices across the applications organization
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Supply Chain, Finance, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience
10+ years of progressive experience in EDI analysis, mapping, and production support, with deep exposure to Supply Chain and Finance integrations
Demonstrated leadership of EDI workstreams within ERP implementation programs; SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud experience strongly preferred
Advanced knowledge of ANSI X12 transaction sets, including 810, 820, 824, 846, 850, 855, 856, 860, 940, 945, and 997
Working knowledge of EDIFACT transaction sets such as ORDERS, ORDRSP, ORDCHG, DESADV, INVOIC, REMADV, and INVRPT
Hands-on experience with EDI middleware platforms, including SAP CPI, TrueCommerce Foundry, DMEDI/Vantage Point, Cleo, or similar solutions
Experience supporting 3PL and retail EDI ecosystems (Rithum OrderStream, Rithum DSCO, ChannelAdvisor Rithum Brands, SPS Commerce Fulfillment, LogicBroker, Radial DropShip Manager)
Strong command of EDI standards and data formats, including X12, IDoc, XML, JSON, flat files, and EDIFACT
Proven ability to diagnose complex integration issues and perform structured root cause analysis
Experience leading ERP cutover planning and post–go-live stabilization activities
Preferred
SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud experience strongly preferred
Exposure to API-based integrations, REST services, and modern B2B architectures is a plus
