Mount St. Joseph University is seeking a Student Ambassador and Social Media Coordinator to join their Speech, Language, and Hearing Sciences team. The role involves managing social media content, conducting outreach to prospective students, and supporting departmental promotional activities.

Responsibilities

Assist the Department chair and SLHS faculty with managing a social media content calendar, creating posts and event announcements, monitoring conversations about MSJ, and measuring the effectiveness of overall efforts

Schedule coordinated content on a biweekly basis with established weekly outreach activities (2-3 posts per week, follow-up email, etc.)

Assist with marketing opportunities to help promote the SLHS and Master of Speech-Language Pathology (MSLP) programs

Conduct outreach activities to current university applicants and answer questions via email, by phone, via scheduled Zoom information sessions, and by text message using the Department's social media accounts to highlight the activities of the department

Gather and interpret relevant data and metrics

Occasional attendance and support at departmental promotional events such as open houses, yield events, etc

Support the department with internal activities that support student engagement, student support, recruiting, and retention
