Responsibilities
Lead the independent analysis, design, and maintenance of critical agency software systems
Ensure compliance with federal mandates, specifically managing the technical support for federal data transmittals to the EPA
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field (or equivalent year-for-year experience)
8 years of experience as a Software Developer/Engineer specifically within government IT projects
8 years of experience building and optimizing SQL statements/stored procedures
3 years of experience supporting Water Quality/Safety Information Systems
Professional working knowledge of ASP.NET, .NET, C#, HTML, and CSS
Must be a W2 candidate (No C2C allowed)
Preferred
Experience with SDWIS (Safe Drinking Water Information System), WQX (Water Quality Exchange), SWIFT, and DW-SFTIES
Java/Web Servers: Experience with Apache Tomcat and Java
Previous direct collaboration with the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA)
Proficiency in help desk platforms and Microsoft Office
