The City of Waukee is looking for seasonal Field Crew Leads to work at Triumph Park. The Field Crew Lead provides maintenance services, including mowing, turf and field maintenance, equipment maintenance, fence repair, trash and litter removal, and general customer service at Triumph Park and other assigned facilities.

Responsibilities

Performs maintenance and repairs to assigned facility
Assists with oversight of Field Crew members
Completes mowing and trimming of assigned grounds according to standards
Provides necessary field preparation for assigned facility including striping and dragging of ball fields
Performs maintenance of turf and infield areas as needed for assigned facility
Complete proper waste management and janitorial duties, cleaning and restocking of assigned facilities
Performs equipment maintenance, repairs and cleaning as assigned
Communicates with facility users maintaining a high level of customer service
Performs other duties or assumes other responsibilities as apparent or assigned

Qualification

Required

Minimum age 18
Must possess a valid driver's license and meet the requirements of the City's motor vehicle policy
Must possess valid CPR, First Aid, and AED certifications or ability to obtain within 30 days of employment
General knowledge of computers and software applications to utilize e-mail and timekeeping systems
