They are seeking an experienced Staffing Coordinator to manage staffing for their Health Care Center, including hiring, training, and employee engagement activities.

Responsibilities

Responsible for creating, adjusting, updating, and finding appropriate coverages for floor staff working in the Health Care Center

Assists Administrators with the hiring and training process, including continuing education as required by local, state and Federal guidelines

Provides New Hire support by meeting, greeting and communicating with new employees and assuring trainings are completed before providing schedules for floor assignments

Prepares daily staffing report for review by the Administrator

Approves timecards and time off requests for floor staff

Reviews turnover reports and assists with retention plans

Participates in the planning and implementation of employee engagement events

Participates in on-call rotation

Required

Minimum of 1 year of experience in geriatric care or equivalent role

Must be able to work independently and be self-motivated

Must have the skills to work effectively and collaboratively in a team environment

Must possess effective interpersonal communication skills, as well as the ability to deal tactfully and pleasantly with residents, families, staff, visitors, and general public

Must demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills and have the ability to communicate and present in person, in writing, and on the telephone effectively in English

Must have a valid driver's license
