Clinical Research Coordinator I- Pharmacological Sciences
Mount Sinai Health System is a leading academic medical institution in New York, and they are seeking a Clinical Research Coordinator to assist in conducting a new NIH-funded interdisciplinary study. The role involves recruiting and screening study participants, conducting study sessions, and assisting in research-related tasks under the supervision of the Principal Investigator.

Responsibilities
Conducts human subjects research including, but not limited to: recruiting and screening study participants for eligibility, obtaining informed consent, and conducting study sessions including collection of blood samples
Maintains source documents and participant files in accordance with Mount Sinai policies and procedures. Ensures accurate, confidential and complete compilation of data
May secure and ship clinical specimens as required by the protocol
Assists in the collection, analysis and review of experimental data for publication and presentation
Performs other related duties including supporting efforts in grant preparation and journal article publication
Qualification
Required
Bachelors or Masters degree in Science or closely related field
No experience required
Excellent interpersonal skills
Ability to work well in a team
Interest in women's health, endocrinology, or mood disorders
Organized and able to troubleshoot or problem-solve
Capable of meeting deadlines with fast turnaround
Ability to perform phlebotomy
Willingness to travel locally by public transportation for offsite study sessions
Flexibility in office hours to accommodate early morning or evening visits for some study participants
Preferred
Bachelors degree in psychology, neuroscience or related field preferred, or a combination of relevant research experience and education
1+ years of research/human subjects experience
Previous research/human subjects experience
Previous phlebotomy experience
