Africans Who Design is seeking a strategic and execution-oriented Vice President of Finance to lead and scale their finance function within a fast-growing crypto and digital assets organization. This role will serve as a key business partner to the executive leadership team, overseeing financial strategy, reporting, controls, and capital management in a highly dynamic and regulated environment.

Responsibilities

Lead the company’s overall financial strategy, planning, and execution aligned with corporate objectives

Oversee financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial modeling

Ensure compliance with U.S. GAAP, regulatory requirements, and internal control frameworks

Manage treasury, cash flow, liquidity planning, and capital allocation strategies

Partner closely with executive leadership on strategic initiatives, M&A, fundraising, and investor relations

Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing finance, accounting, and FP&A team

Oversee audit processes, tax strategy, and coordination with external advisors

Develop scalable financial systems, processes, and controls to support rapid growth

Provide clear, data-driven insights to support decision-making in a volatile market environment
