They are seeking a Machine Learning Engineer to help generate synthetic data and refine neural network frameworks for modeling Alzheimer's disease progression.

Responsibilities
Develop large volumes of realistic synthetic data (including audio and tabular/CSV data) using generative models trained on existing datasets
Refine and improve model architectures across three modalities: Cognitive test embeddings, Voice test embeddings, Demographic data
Train and evaluate deep learning architectures on large-scale synthetic and semi-realistic datasets
Contribute to improving model robustness, generalization, and scalability
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree (or equivalent experience) in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, or a related field
Strong proficiency in Python and PyTorch
Familiarity with generative modeling techniques, including: Flow-based models, GANs, Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), Large Language Models (LLMs)
Solid understanding of: Probabilistic modeling, Diffusion models, Bayesian methods, Dimensionality reduction techniques
Comprehensive understanding of sequence models (LSTM/GRU), Transformers, and VAEs
Experience with graph neural networks (GAT / R-GAT) and multimodal fusion methods
Comfortable reading, understanding, and implementing academic research papers
Strong debugging, version control (Git/GitHub), and documentation skills
Availability of 40+ hours per week with consistent progress updates
Preferred
Prior experience working on multimodal or neuro-related machine learning projects
Exposure to MLOps practices (continuous monitoring, continuous training, experiment tracking, etc.)
Familiarity with cloud computing environments, particularly AWS
