In this role, you will provide professional roadway engineering assistance and support senior engineers in preparing transportation design plans and conducting various design calculations.

Responsibilities
Assisting Senior Engineers and Project Managers in the preparation of transportation design plans for state, commercial, industrial, residential and municipal projects in a 3D digital environment
Performing and checking various design calculations and performing various tasks as they relate to preparing a design package
Preparing front-end feasibility, permitting and zoning studies, project development, storm water design, cost estimates and detailed design plans
Qualification
Required
2+ years of general experience related to roadway design. (Co-op or Internships acceptable.)
Experience with MicroStation (OpenRoads, GEOPAK SS4 is not required, but a plus.)
Making charts, graphs, or forms to go along with documentation
Prepare & organize documentation for each report
Experience with technical writing
Knowledge of ODOT & MDOT Design Standards
Preparing plans, and specifications
