Senior Manager, Data Center Low-Voltage Vendor Management (Nashville, TN or Austin, TX)

Responsibilities
Develop and implement the long-term strategy for Low-Voltage Vendor Management, aligning it with Oracle's overall data center objectives and global expansion plans
Lead, coach, and mentor a team of Technical Program Managers and other direct reports, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement
Recruit, onboard, and retain top talent, ensuring a diverse and skilled workforce
Conduct performance evaluations, provide feedback, and support career development for team members
Establish and maintain strong relationships with key low-voltage vendors, ensuring strategic alignment and partnership
Negotiate and review master service agreements, defining service-level expectations and performance metrics
Regularly assess vendor performance, conduct business reviews, and drive continuous improvement initiatives
Design and implement standardized processes for vendor engagement, qualification, and performance monitoring across all data center sites
Identify opportunities for process automation and tool implementation to enhance efficiency
Develop risk mitigation strategies related to low-voltage vendors, ensuring business continuity and data center operational readiness
Ensure vendor compliance with Oracle's policies, standards, and regulatory requirements
Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders, including Construction Management, Design, Supply Chain, and Operations teams, to align vendor activities with project goals
Act as a liaison between vendors and various internal departments, facilitating effective communication and problem-solving
Manage and optimize the budget related to low-voltage vendor engagements, ensuring cost-effectiveness and value for money
Conduct cost-benefit analyses and make data-driven decisions regarding vendor selection and resource allocation
Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in low-voltage systems and vendor management
Identify and implement innovative solutions to enhance vendor performance and overall data center efficiency
Qualification
Required
12+ years of progressive experience in vendor management, program/project management, or a related field, with at least 5 years in a people leadership role
Proven track record of successfully managing and leading large-scale vendor relationships, preferably in the data center or infrastructure industry
Exceptional leadership skills, with the ability to inspire, motivate, and develop high-performing teams
Strong business acumen and strategic thinking abilities, capable of translating strategies into actionable plans
Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with experience of engaging and influencing C-level executives and stakeholders
Proficiency in performance management, including KPI development, data analysis, and reporting
Knowledge of data center operations, low-voltage systems, and associated industry standards
Experience in process improvement and change management, with a focus on continuous optimization
A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field; an advanced degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or a related discipline is preferred
Preferred
Professional certifications in project/program management, vendor management, or leadership are highly desirable

Paid time off: Flexible Vacation is provided to all eligible employees assigned to a salaried (non-overtime eligible) position. Accrued Vacation is provided to all other employees eligible for vacation benefits. For employees working at least 35 hours per week, the vacation accrual rate is 13 days annually for the first three years of employment and 18 days annually for subsequent years of employment. Vacation accrual is prorated for employees working between 20 and 34 hours per week. Employees working fewer than 20 hours per week are not eligible for vacation.
