Responsibilities
Analyze seasonal and holiday purchase trends (e.g., St. Patrick’s Day corned beef) to ensure accurate supply planning and avoid overbuying
Develop and enhance vendor performance views in Power BI, including trade rates and other key metrics, to support category managers
Collaborate with category managers to identify opportunities for improved performance through data-driven solutions
Support promotional planning and themed activities by providing structured analytics and insights
Identify best and worst-performing trade partners and work jointly on improvement strategies
Process and analyze category data to draw meaningful conclusions and highlight anomalies
Build and maintain Power BI dashboards and views for margin governance and category performance
Provide structured analytics to empower decision-making for category managers
Assist in promotional target setting and performance tracking
Qualification
Required
Proficient in Microsoft Power BI
Proficient in Microsoft Excel
Proficient in Analysis
Advanced Excel proficiency, including complex functions
Power BI experience
Prior business experience
English - Conversational
Preferred
Background in retail or merchandising
Familiarity with SQL and/or Python
