Equipment Engineer (Entry or Experienced) - PM Shift

AOI is seeking a highly skilled Equipment Engineer to maintain and optimize the performance and reliability of their production line equipment. This role is crucial in reducing equipment downtime and ensuring seamless operation of automated systems, collaborating with engineering team members to uphold an efficient production line.

Responsibilities

Oversee and rectify deviations in equipment performance, specializing in troubleshooting and repair of production machinery, including both automated and semi-automated equipment
Ensure that all equipment adheres to functional specifications, industry standards, and regulatory requirements
Organize and execute regular calibration and preventive maintenance schedules for newly introduced production equipment
Monitor the operational status of production machinery and coordinate equipment technician duties to maintain optimal performance
Use SOLIDWORKS to refine and enhance equipment functionality and design
Produce and maintain precise records and documentation pertaining to maintenance, modifications, repairs, and performance metrics
Follow established protocols to report and address equipment issues effectively
Be prepared to work during nights and weekends as required to support production needs if needed

Required

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
Minimum of 1 year in an electro-mechanical role, dealing with manufacturing equipment
Experience with SOLIDWORKS
Ability to solder and perform board testing

Preferred

Experience with LabVIEW
Previous employment in a semiconductor company
