Responsibilities

Plan and lead audits for privately held businesses and nonprofits

Oversee fieldwork, manage teams, and keep projects on track and on budget

Analyze financials to identify trends, risks, and strategic insights

Build strong client relationships as the main point of contact on engagements

Collaborate with partners to continuously improve audit processes

Use technology to streamline workflows and enhance audit accuracy

Train and mentor junior staff

Stay current on GAAP, accounting standards, and regulatory updates

Qualification

Required

Proven track record in a supervisory/manager capacity in a small or mid-sized public accounting firm

Solid audit experience, preferably with nonprofit and privately held clients

Strong working knowledge of GAAP and audit procedures

Detail-oriented with great communication skills

Self-motivated, organized, and comfortable leading teams

Thrives in a collaborative, laid-back culture with lots of trust and autonomy

CPA required for manager-level consideration
