This SME will guide manufacturability reviews, supplier capability assessments, and cost reduction efforts for complex investment castings. The role is fully remote with occasional travel to supplier sites.

Responsibilities

Review casting and machining drawings for manufacturability and cost optimization

Draft RFQ addendums and support technical evaluations during supplier selection

Participate in pre-production reviews and assess supplier readiness for new part launches

Collaborate with engineering teams to resolve drawing issues and drive improvements

Identify and evaluate casting suppliers, both current and potential

Advise on cost reduction strategies and troubleshoot supplier production issues
