Responsibilities
Administer and support Windows-based server environments, including Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, and DHCP
Perform user and group management, access control, and permissions management
Support server patching, updates, and routine maintenance
Monitor system performance, availability, and backups
Assist with troubleshooting infrastructure issues across servers, storage, and networked systems
Support virtualization environments (VMware and/or Hyper-V)
Assist with disaster recovery planning and backup verification
Document system configurations, procedures, and changes
Collaborate with senior IT staff on infrastructure projects and improvements
Qualification
Required
2+ years of hands-on systems administration experience
Experience administering Windows Server environments
Working knowledge of Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, and DHCP
Experience with backup solutions and recovery processes
Familiarity with virtualization platforms (VMware or Hyper-V)
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
Experience working in a professional IT environment with change management practices
Preferred
Experience with Microsoft 365 and Azure AD
Exposure to networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, VLANs, firewalls)
Scripting experience (PowerShell preferred)
Experience supporting security best practices and access controls
