Responsibilities
Requirements analysis: Gather and analyze functional requirements from internal stakeholders and develop purchasing strategies aligned with business objectives
Supplier Management: Identify and qualify suppliers, launch tenders (RFI/RFQ), evaluate proposals using Total Cost of Ownership (TCO), and lead negotiations through to contract signature
Contracting & Compliance: Draft contractual terms with legal support, establish agreements with KPIs, and ensure adherence to internal procedures, quality standards, and CSR principles
Performance & Risk Management: Monitor supplier performance through audits and KPIs, resolve disputes, implement corrective actions, and maintain competitive intelligence to anticipate market trends and supply risks
Reporting & Governance: Provide accurate reporting on purchasing performance and budget compliance, and participate in compliance audits
Qualification
Required
Master degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Logistics, Engineering, or a related field is required
Prior experience in Purchasing is mandatory, and expertise in logistics and transportation is appreciated
Ability to work in a team and interact with various stakeholders
Responsiveness, adaptability, and proactivity with excellent negotiation and communication skills
Strong ethics and respect for confidentiality
Experience with MRP/ERP software systems in the execution of material planning and inventory control functions
Preferred
SAP experience a plus
