Controls Engineer I, II, III
Golden Valley Electric Association is an electric cooperative that maintains extensive transmission and distribution lines in Alaska. They are seeking a Controls Engineer to support the operation of the Healy Power Plant by maintaining control systems, troubleshooting issues, and collaborating with engineering and operations teams.

Responsibilities
Support the safe and reliable operation of the Healy Power Plant by administering and maintaining control systems
Assisting with troubleshooting
Collaborating with plant personnel on technical solutions
Contribute to system improvements
Documentation
Data analysis while working closely with engineering teams, operations staff, and external vendors in a fast-paced industrial environment
Qualification
Required
Four-year degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a closely related field, or equivalent relevant experience
Valid Alaska driver's license
Experience with or the ability to rapidly learn control systems used in electrical utility, GMS/EMS, or industrial process environments
Preferred
Prior experience with ABB Symphony and Allen Bradley systems
Familiarity with coal combustion, steam systems, power generation, and Critical Infrastructure Protection (CIP) standards
