Field Service Technician - Seattle, WA

The Field Service Technician will provide exceptional onsite service, troubleshoot and repair mechanical and electrical issues, and ensure efficient operation of autonomous mobile robots while traveling extensively across the country.

Responsibilities

Possess a unique combination of hands-on problem solving, analytical thinking and a customer-service spirit
Manage and conduct all on-site troubleshooting, repair and testing tasks for powered industrial trucks, robotic and vision guided systems
Perform routine maintenance tasks to improve reliability and prevent failures
Work with a collaborative attitude and team spirit in an ever-changing dynamic environment
Coach customer staff on safety, equipment operation and maintenance best practices
Maintain detailed daily record keeping and reporting, including resolutions implemented, records of time, expenses and materials
Remain prepared for customer service calls which most likely require travel on short notice
Take ownership on-going skill development by engaging in regular product and software trainings
Follow all safety protocols to maintain a safe work environment

Required

High school diploma
Proven experience as a Field Service Technician or similar position
Ability to work long hours in noisy and busy environments
Ability to lift 50 pounds
Strong customer interface with commitment to customer satisfaction
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Good technical knowledge of Windows; proficient in Microsoft Office
Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
Ability to travel extensively both domestically and internationally and maintain a clean driving record - Passport is required
Must be a highly responsible individual who can work independently and with minimal supervision

Preferred

Technical certification or associates degree preferred
Experience with Linux
