Accounting Manager

LHH is seeking a detail-oriented and highly skilled Accounting Manager to support the organization’s financial operations. Responsibilities

Manage monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes to ensure accurate and timely financial results
Prepare journal entries, reconciliations, and supporting schedules
Ensure compliance with GAAP, internal policies, and audit requirements
Maintain and monitor the general ledger, accruals, prepaid schedules, fixed assets, and intercompany transactions
Support consolidation activities and assist with foreign subsidiary reporting if applicable
Oversee account reconciliations and ensure timely resolution of discrepancies
Assist in preparing management reports, financial analyses, and variance explanations
Partner with cross‑functional teams (FP&A, Operations, HR, Supply Chain) to support business initiatives and provide financial insights
Recommend and implement process improvements to enhance accuracy and efficiency
Support internal and external audits by preparing documentation and responding to auditor inquiries
Ensure compliance with state, federal, and international accounting requirements where applicable
Participate in optimization of ERP modules and financial systems
Evaluate existing processes and help modernize workflows, templates, and reporting tools

Required

Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required
5+ years of progressive accounting experience
Strong understanding of U.S. GAAP
Proficiency with ERP systems and advanced Excel skills
Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills
Ability to work independently and manage deadlines in a hybrid environment

Preferred

CPA or CMA preferred but not required
Experience in multinational or multi‑entity environments preferred (e.g., foreign currency, consolidations)
