Responsibilities

Conduct client intake meetings and maintain ongoing client communication

Draft, negotiate, and settle cases in the pre litigation phase

Draft pleadings, complaints, discovery requests, and discovery responses

Take and defend depositions

Draft and argue motions as appropriate

Work with experts, treating physicians, and medical providers

Prepare cases for trial, including jury trials when applicable

Collaborate with paralegals, case managers, and litigation support staff

Maintain accurate and timely case documentation in Smart Advocate

Uphold professional, ethical, and firm standards at all times

Qualification

Required

Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school

Active license to practice law in the relevant jurisdiction

Experience taking and defending depositions

Ability to prepare cases for trial, including jury trials
