Prairie Band Health Services is seeking a skilled OB/GYN Physician to provide exceptional women’s healthcare at Blackfeet Community Hospital in Browning, Montana. Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive obstetric and gynecologic care to patients across all stages of life
Manage prenatal, labor & delivery, and postpartum care
Perform gynecological surgeries and procedures within scope of privileges
Collaborate with nursing, midwifery, and other healthcare team members to ensure coordinated patient care
Participate in on-call coverage for obstetrics and emergencies as assigned
Provide education and counseling to patients regarding reproductive health and family planning
Document all encounters and procedures in accordance with facility policy and federal regulations
Participate in quality improvement and peer review initiatives

Required

OB/GYN experience as an MD/DO required
2–3 years of post-residency experience needed
Board Certification in Obstetrics & Gynecology required
Must hold a valid U.S. medical license (any state)
Current BLS, ACLS, NRP certifications required
Active, Unrestricted Medical License — Must hold a current and unrestricted license to practice medicine in Montana or any U.S. state, the District of Columbia, or the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico
Board Certification/Eligibility — Must be Board Certified or Board Eligible in Obstetrics and Gynecology through the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology (ABOG) or the American Osteopathic Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology (AOBOG)
Active DEA Registration — Required to prescribe and manage controlled substances
Citizenship — Must be a U.S. citizen residing primarily within the United States
Experience — Minimum of 2 years of relevant OB/GYN clinical experience post-residency required
Credentialing — Must complete all credentialing requirements within 10 days of offer acceptance
Federal Security Clearance — Must be willing and able to complete and pass the federal background and security clearance process

Preferred

Previous locum tenens and IHS facility experience preferred
