Responsibilities
Unload materials from incoming trucks
Move and unload materials throughout the factory
General shipping and receiving duties, storage, and yard cleanliness
Other duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
2+ years' experience as a forklift operator, ideally in an industrial setting moving heavy materials
Ability to read and write English
Knowledge of various material handling equipment
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
High school diploma or equivalent
Be able to lift 70 pounds
The employee will be exposed to shop elements such as noise, dust, fumes, and odors
This position requires physical activity performing somewhat strenuous daily activities in a primarily production environment
The Forklift Operator spends a significant portion of their time outside and must be comfortable working in inclement weather
