0+ years expMedStar Radiology Network is currently seeking an experienced multi-modality CT technologist for a full-time flex position at their outpatient imaging center located in Olney, Maryland. The CT technologist will perform computed tomography procedures, diagnostic Xray, and Dexa scans, ensuring services are executed safely and effectively.

Responsibilities
Performs computed tomography procedures and related techniques, producing sectional & 3-dimensional images at the request of and for interpretation by a licensed independent practitioner
Performs diagnostic Xray and Dexa scans
Ensures services are performed in a safe environment in accordance with established guidelines and regulatory requirements
Serves as part of the imaging center team and seeks as well as provides feedback for improved clinical practice
Qualification
Required
Up to 2 years experience as a CT Technologist
Must have a minimum Associate's degree in Radiology or be a graduate of an accredited two-year radiology program
Must be registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) in Radiography and maintain current valid registration from ARRT
CT advanced registration through ARRT is required upon hire for IDTF centers
Non-IDTF centers require CT advanced registry within the first 12 months of employment
Must meet the state licensure requirement for the state in which they practice
Skill in operation of CT equipment as well as applicable ancillary equipment
Ability to work independently and multitask
Ability to provide documentation accurately and concisely
Demonstrates understanding of human cross-sectional anatomy, physiology, pathology, radiopharmacology, and medical terminology
Knowledge of computer applications, including information and billing systems, keyboard input, digital archiving, and retrieving of data
