Pediatric Clinical Neuropsychologist - Open Rank Fixed Term Faculty

They are seeking a full-time pediatric clinical neuropsychologist to provide neuropsychological assessment and consultation services for patients with neurocognitive and neurobehavioral impairments, collaborating closely with interdisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

Provide neuropsychological assessment and consultation services to aid in the diagnosis and treatment of patients with a variety of neurocognitive and neurobehavioral impairments
Work closely with interdisciplinary treatment teams and other UNC departments/programs, including Neurology, Neurosurgery, Psychiatry, Hematology/Oncology, and many others, as well as community providers
Provide surgical evaluations for epilepsy
Participate in administrative activities and research associated with their academic appointment and areas of expertise
Provide training experiences for graduate students, psychology interns, and fellows as well as resident physicians, with clinical teaching as a valued part of the work

Qualification

PhDPsyD in psychologyAPA-approved clinical internshipSupervised postdoctoral trainingLicensed in North CarolinaInterdisciplinary collaborationPatient care quality enhancementInterpersonal skillsCommunication skills

Required

PhD or PsyD in clinical psychology/neuropsychology
Completed an APA-approved clinical internship with a neuropsychology emphasis
At least two years of supervised postdoctoral training in clinical neuropsychology
Licensed or license-eligible in the state of North Carolina

Preferred

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
A record of interdisciplinary collaboration
Desire to be involved in enhancing quality of patient care
