New GradThe University of Virginia is seeking candidates for a Clinical Instructor position in the Cardiothoracic Imaging track. The fellowship will provide a balanced combination of cardiovascular and thoracic imaging, including hands-on experience in CT and MRI studies, and participation in multi-disciplinary conferences and teaching activities.

Responsibilities
Interpretation of CT and MRI studies of the cardiovascular system
Hands-on experience in the acquisition of CT and MRI cardiac images for all indications
Experience in conventional radiography, CT, and MRI of the chest
Participation in multi-disciplinary conferences with Cardiology, Cardiovascular and Thoracic Surgery, Pulmonology, and Pathology
Daily teaching activities through interactions with residents, medical students and clinical faculty
Participation in research projects during the fellowship
Overnight coverage for ED patients on a 24-7 basis if elected
Final reads to ED patients
Qualification
Required
Candidates must have an MD or equivalent
Successfully completed a residency in diagnostic radiology at an ACGME accredited institution
Successfully completed a diagnostic radiology residency accredited by the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada (RCPSC)
