InternCONSOR Engineers is a trusted civil engineering firm specializing in water resources, transportation, and infrastructure solutions. They are seeking a Water Engineering Intern to assist in the design and analysis of water infrastructure and gain hands-on experience in water resources engineering.
Civil Engineering
Responsibilities
Assist in design and analysis of water infrastructure, including pipelines, pump stations, and treatment facilities
Support hydraulic modeling for water distribution and stormwater systems
Prepare technical reports, cost estimates, and design calculations
Draft plans and details using AutoCAD and Civil 3D
Review and update maps, charts, and as-built drawings
Participate in field visits for data collection and construction observation
Respond to submittals and RFIs during construction phases
Qualification
Required
Currently enrolled in an ABET-accredited Civil Engineering program
Interest in water resources or environmental engineering
Proficiency in Microsoft Office; familiarity with CAD tools preferred
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Ability to work in both office and field environments
Preferred
Experience or coursework in hydrology, hydraulics, or water/wastewater systems
Knowledge of EPA SWMM, HEC-RAS, or similar modeling software
Effective communication and teamwork abilities
