Responsibilities
Prepare detailed cost estimates across all scopes of water infrastructure projects
Interpret and analyse project plans and specifications
Utilize HCSS HeavyBid software to develop and manage comprehensive project estimates
Solicit and evaluate material and subcontractor quotations
Maintain detailed documentation and current pricing information
Collaborate with project teams to support value engineering and risk assessment
Mentor junior estimating staff and contribute to proposal preparation
Recommend design and construction alternatives based on cost, quality, and availability
Qualification
Required
5+ years of estimating experience, preferably on waterworks, treatment plans or pump stations
Strong knowledge of all major scopes within civil construction
Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word and Excel)
Proficient with HCSS HeavyBid or similar estimating software
Strong attention to detail, communication skills, and ability to work in a collaborative team environment
Preferred
Bluebeam Revu experience
Experience with project scheduling (CPM)
