Brown & Brown is seeking a Benefits Account Executive to join our growing team in Jacksonville, FL. The Benefits Account Executive provides support to employee benefit lines by maintaining, expanding, and servicing assigned accounts.

Responsibilities

New Business marketing including, but not limited to rating and quoting employee benefit lines

Spend up to 10% of the time outside of the office with clients

Renewal marketing including, but not limited to rating and quoting assigned employee benefit accounts

New Business & Renewal Underwriting including, but not limited to gathering missing enrollment information and all underwriting status follow up

Work directly with group administrators to assist and educate on the proper administration procedures, State & Federal COBRA, additions & termination and all other administrative procedures

Assist employees with unresolved claim issues while educating them on the claims processing system

Develop and maintain working relationship with the various company marketing representatives and underwriters

Maintain up to date knowledge of the various carriers’ rating plans and programs

Maintain favorable relationship with clients, producers, and employees

Develop and maintain strong technical knowledge of employee benefit lines of coverage and rating
