Undergraduate Student Research Assistant
University of Portland is seeking two undergraduate student researchers to join a funded environmental research project in Spring–Fall 2026. Students will help investigate how cultural and natural values can be integrated into conservation and restoration projects across Oregon.

Responsibilities
Conduct literature reviews across economics, environmental humanities, and Native American studies
Assist with planning and facilitating online focus groups with Tribal staff, conservation NGOs, and agencies
Help analyze qualitative data and develop case study materials
Draft written content for both the academic article and a public-facing website hosted by the Grand Ronde Cultural Resources Department
Other relevant duties as assigned
