Responsibilities

Consults with business partner to identify and define software applications needs. Analyzes requests for changes, updates or modifications to new or existing software applications and makes recommendations for designs to meet client specifications

Maintain, transform, and update data between two or more systems using Integration software

Coordinates and prioritizes team work assignments, providing leadership to team members and other IT staff to ensure achievement of goals and objectives within company policies and procedures

Oversees the maintenance of complex software applications through the preparation and testing of software code for files, reports, screens and programs. Ensures day-to-day incidents are resolved timely and accurately to ensure the integrity of the services being provided

Coordinates and assists with assigning tasks to ensure proper administration of activities. Selects, develops, trains, motivates and evaluates the performance of assigned employees

Monitors team activities and assignment/project progress related to technical information research, analyses, standards development, administration, maintenance, problem resolution and prioritizations

Assists in the preparation of project work plans, the development of service request cost and time estimates and the development of management reports on plans, projects and performance

Reviews and approves documentation of new and modified software systems adheres to Atmos energy and Industry standards to provide a detailed description for reference

Participates in certain aspects of user consulting, systems analysis, general systems design and detail systems design

Trains end users to operate new or modified programs

Keeps abreast of new and changing technological advances in program languages, utilities, tools and client/server technology to ensure achievement of optimum results

Communicate analytical reports and critical situations status to upper management for decision making and provide feedback to team members about better ways to implement solutions

Required

10+ years of overall experience

Proven leadership/stakeholder engagement experience

Strong SAP ABAP and Object-oriented ABAP

Deep understanding of S/4HANA architecture

Debugging ABAP programs, user exits, function modules

Creating and extending basic and composite CDS Views

Using annotations for UI, analytics, and authorization

Understanding association and joins for complex data models

Integrating CDS Views with OData services for Fiori apps

Debugging and optimizing CDS Views for performance

SAP PM (Plant Maintenance) Module Expertise

Deep understanding of maintenance planning, work orders, notifications, task lists, and equipment master data

Familiarity with the latest S/4HANA features, especially those related to asset management and integration with other modules like MM, PP, and FI

Ability to assess and align SAP EAM capabilities with business needs, especially in industries like utilities

Designing solutions that bridge gaps between SAP capabilities and client requirements during the implementation lifecycle

Managing assets from acquisition to decommissioning, including capital project tracking

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, MIS, Information Technology, Business or a closely related field

Five years of experience in software programming

Ability to communicate, persuade and/or influence internal and/or external business partners at a high level such as senior management on matters of a technical and/or complex nature

Ability to perform analyses involving ratios, percentages and simple statistical methods

Very high level of computer skills in order to use various software packages as well as a familiarity with hardware configuration

Proficient in MS Office Tools

Preferred

SAP Fiori & SAPUI5-UX/UI frameworks for building responsive, user-friendly applications

SAP BTP Cloud-native development, integration, and extensibility using CAP (Cloud Application Programming Model)

IDocs, BAPIs, RFCs, Odata and SAP Event Mesh for system interoperability

Strong working knowledge of SQL, Linux/Unix, scripting

Basic understanding of snowflake pipelines, queries and data models

Strong trouble shooting skills with the ability to understand an environment and how to troubleshoot at the environment level (network, hardware, application, database, etc.)

Working knowledge of SAP ISU systems is a plus

Strong verbal and written communications skills

Self-starter, works independently, willing to flex and learn new areas of work
