Responsibilities

Screen patients for eligibility for all available programs and episodic coverage

Enroll patients into the appropriate program

Ensure patients have the most appropriate financial resources to continue seeking care at TrueCare

Screen for programs such as Medi-Cal, Covered CA, PFPACT, CHDP, and any other episodic programs available at TrueCare

Explain the program and specifics to each patient as necessary

Required

High school graduate or equivalent

Knowledge of medical terminology, and data entry training preferred

CA Driver's License, clean driving record, and reliable transportation are required

Certified Enrollment Counselor or eligible for certification within three months of hire

Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with people of all ages and social and ethnic backgrounds, including patients, medical staff, co-workers, and the public

Effective verbal and written communication, interpersonal, organizational, problem-solving, time management, and multi-tasking skills

Bilingual (English/Spanish)
