Responsibilities
Comply with all Good Manufacturing Practices (CGMP) requirements to ensure products are consistently produced and controlled according to the Quality System
Takes direction within the manufacturing cell from upper-level operators assigned to that cell
Load components into product specific tools, equipment and fixtures
Perform in-process visual inspections with and without the use of microscopes in accordance with the requirements stated in the Process Control Document or as otherwise stated on drawings or work instructions
Perform pre/post-weld operations such as assembly and part cleaning
Perform workstation set-ups on and troubleshooting qualified operations
Perform various dimensional inspection using specific gauges, dimensional inspection systems, verniers and micrometers
Make basic measurements and math calculations relative to tolerances, dimensions
Assists Quality Control with inspection duties as required
Recognize quality issues and communicates these issues to Quality and/or Supervisor
Assists in packaging of finished goods as needed
Complies with company, quality, and safety standards, policies, and procedures
Qualification
Required
Working knowledge of drawings, ability to interpret nomenclature and dimensions
Ability to read, write and comprehend English
Ability to frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
Preferred
High School Diploma or GED, preferred
Minimum of 1 year experience in medical device manufacturing work environment
