Responsibilities
Administering medications and treatments per physician’s orders
Supervising nursing assistants and ensuring accountability to policies and procedures
Completing accurate nursing documentation and reports
Making resident rounds and monitoring resident status
Communicating updates, incidents, and concerns to the RN Supervisor
Assisting with admissions, discharges, transfers, and assessments
Upholding safety, infection control, HIPAA, and compliance standards
Qualification
Required
Current PA Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license
Current CPR certification
Strong problem-solving and independent decision-making skills
Compassion for and ability to work effectively with older adults
Commitment to safety, infection control, and regulatory compliance
