Director, Strategic Accounts

TransPerfect is a leading provider of multilingual legal support services, and they are seeking a Director of Strategic Accounts to grow new business relationships and support existing clients. The role involves excellent customer service, project leadership, and collaboration with internal teams to ensure client satisfaction and project success.

Responsibilities

Be responsible for all client communication, understanding client goals and interests and discussing project requirements with clients
Creatively problem solve to improve current and new business development strategies
Assist in new business development (proposal development, meetings, and presentations)
Communicate the client's goals, project requirements, and represent the client's interests to the team to ensure client expectations are met and managed
Ensure clients are regularly informed of project status and maintain clear communication with clients to ensure client needs are met and any issues are resolved
Work closely with the project management team to maintain continuous knowledge of project status to identify potential issues and/or opportunities within or related to the project
Assist in creating and monitoring adherence to project plans/budgets
Consistently qualify, generate, and execute on opportunities in coordination with Sales Management
Maintain and update sales progress reports according to agreed timeframes
Complete all aspects of the sales cycle (proposal through closure of sales)
Coordinate with colleagues in other departments for the purpose of ensuring efficient workflow
Maintain a strong understanding of TL eDiscovery capabilities and services, and effectively communicate offerings to clients
Compose or generate a variety of materials (e.g. reports, memos, letters, manuals, etc.) for the purpose of documenting activities, training, providing written reference and/or conveying information regarding the status of projects, etc
Provide support to senior team members and perform other special projects or duties as required

Required

Minimum Bachelor's degree
Minimum 2-5 years of experience in account management or the legal industry
Strong understanding of the legal industry, including eDiscovery and all phases of the EDRM
Excellent problem solving and analytical skills
Excellent planning, organizational, and communication skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
Independent, self-motivated, results-oriented, and dynamic
Ability to work under tight deadlines and with geographically dispersed teams
Excellent interpersonal and relationship building skills

Preferred

Understanding of legal document review processes preferred
Prior experience in managing complex projects a plus
