Textron is a company focused on aviation and quality assurance, and they are seeking an intern for their Quality Data team. The intern will support data collection, ensure data quality, and assist in presenting data to help the business make informed decisions.

Responsibilities

Responsible for gathering, analyzing, and validation of documents regarding quality data requirements

Assists the quality team to visualize the state of their business with respect to quality both internally and from the external impact to the customer

Provide quality assurance of imported data, working with other support groups when necessary

Process confidential data and information according to guidelines

Develop reports and analysis from various systems

Manage and design the reporting environment, including data sources, security, and metadata

Collaborate and support initiatives for data integrity and normalization

Evaluate changes and updates to existing data collection systems

Required

Pursuing a bachelor's degree required in Analytics, Data Science, Mathematics, Statistics or other related field

Professional and diplomatic demeanor

Ability to deal with change and work in a dynamic environment

Proficient in use of standard Microsoft Office programs
