Evaluate OSP needs and provide recommendations to management

Collaborate closely with team members and internal/external partners to contribute to the successful implementation of large-scale initiatives

Required

Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal skills

Demonstrate a high degree of initiative, independence and organization

Knowledge of current office methods and procedures with particular reference to the work done by the OSP

Experience supporting complex behavioral health programs, including overseeing data collection systems, developing or monitoring contracts and grants, and ensuring program or fiscal compliance with state and federal regulations

Preferred

Knowledge of the public behavioral health system, including delivery systems and services

Knowledge of the principles and practices of federal and state policies for Medicare and Medicaid

Ability to develop new processes and procedures for a new program area

Ability to establish and maintain collaborative working relationships with internal/external stakeholders

Ability to multi-task and adapt to a changing environment; functioning effectively under demanding and competing deadlines and priorities

Ability to work on confidential and sensitive assignments and exercise a high degree of initiative, independence, sound judgment in performing assigned tasks

Ability to analyze situations and adopt effective courses of actions and/or processes

Ability to conduct independent research and make recommendations to leadership
